The possibility of
the case of Dexter Condez being solved delighted the Catholic Church of Boracay.
In an interview by
Yes FM 91.1 with Rev. Fr. Nonoy Crisostomo, the mediator of the Team Ministry
of the Holy Rosary parish Boracay, he said that if there was already a clear
suspect in the death of Dexter, the case would be resolved.
Nevertheless, he
said that it is being hoped that the case will not stop at the suspect but also
on who gave the directive to commit the crime.
Fr. Crisostomo
added that he hoped that justice will be served in the killing of Dexter.
Dexter Condez was
shot and killed by an unknown suspect while he was on his way home to Sitio
Lugutan, Manoc-Manoc, Boracay on Friday night, February 22.
Condez was the
spokesman of Boracay Ati Tribal Organization (BATO) which is fighting for the
domain of aetas in Boracay.
