Establishments that abided with the 25+5 meter set back, to receive a certificate

Written by Bert Dalida

The establishments that have fully abided to the 25+5 meter set back in Boracay are going to receive a certificate.

The said certificates are set to be awarded by the Boracay Redevelopment Task Force (BRTF) and the LGU Malay tomorrow through an awarding ceremony.

According to the BRTF, the first 21 establishments who fully complied with the set back will be given a COC or Certificate of Compliance.

The COC is an important requirement for the processing of building permits, zoning, occupancy and business permits.

The local government of Malay has previously given the resorts and other establishments until August 28 to voluntarily demolish structures that are within the 25+5 meter easement in Boracay

Note:  Awarding ceremony was re-scheduled to November 5 or 6 2013 with notice of postponement from BRTF
