Several
establishments in Station 1 Balabag Boracay are now working to place the wind breakers
in the island.
This
is because; gradually the island is now experiencing the Southwest Monsoon which
is also based on the report of Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and
Astronomical Services (PAGASA).
In
this regard, Boracay Foundation Incorporated (BFI) President Jony Salme
personally led the placing of wind breakers in their beach front property on
Saturday.
According
to Salme, the wind breaker’s design is based on the design that was being
presented by the Boracay Redevelopment Task Force (BRTF).
It
was noted that BRTF and beach front establishment owners agreed for the said
design as part of the redevelopment on the island.
Meanwhile,
aside from BFI, its neighboring establishments are now also busy placing their
own wind breakers to protect against strong winds and advent of monsoon.
