The Commission on Elections (Comelec) Malay encouraged the
youth aged 15 to 17 to register on their office for SK Polls 2015.
Malay Comelec Officer Elma Cahilig said that the SK registration
started this Saturday until September 29.
Cahilig also stressed that they are open on Saturdays and
Sundays to accommodate the youth for registration.
The requirement for the registration is Certificate of
Live Birth, Baptismal Certificate, School Records and other documents to prove
that they are residents of Malay and of legal age to register in SK.
Registrations are open for 10 days in accordance to the Commission
on Elections Resolutions No. 9899.
SK polls were originally scheduled on October 29, 2013
but was re-scheduled in accordance with RA 10632 signed by President Aquino and
its set this coming February 21, 2015.
