The
Municipal Council of Malay will be having an investigation on Land
Transportation Office’s (LTO) operation in the island of Boracay.
During
yesterday’s session, SB Member Jupiter Gallenero mentioned that the LTO
conducted a smoke emission testing on vehicles in the island.
Gallenero
said this is one the requirements for unit registration or permit renewals.
However,
it has already been three months, and the LTO hasn’t released any results yet.
The SB
Member added that a number of people have been asking about its release since
they already completed LTO’s requirements.
In line
with this, the SB Malay will be notifying the Land Transportation Office in
Kalibo to have an explanation or reason to such delay.
