Same Line

Systems upgrade or maintenance- that was what we used to say in the BPO company I was working with when customers call in and complain about their carrier, of course, always followed with the ever-polite all effort line of “ so we can serve you better” Which is indeed true. With all the competitions in the market and the fast-paced improvements in technology we always have to keep up.

But I’m not here to talk about BPO and all those stuff we used to do and what they mean.

It’s just that it’s so funny that’s the same line I have now when people ask me why we are off air most of this day. Yes Guys, Systems maintenance and Systems Repair.

We were wondering actually why our stuff, most in tip-top shape and are running just fine suddenly stopped running or working.

If they are living things, well just say they’re tired now. Well, whew, I just remembered that things like these- computers, hardwares, softwares, and all this techie things we use for broadcast also has a life now as they
say and most of them are really old and just maybe are also tired of running and working and needs to retire.

Such a pity we don’t have insurances for their burial, I mean disposal. And if they- the poor things live for quite a little longer, the company doesn’t offer retirement as they have no benefits.

So if the poor things cannot be repaired, we have to change them with new ones for smooth operations sake and upgrade to better equipments to keep up with the demands of the business.

Just sad all these hassle has to happen in the middle of one happy day that needs good music as background to complete another short movie we call everyday life.

Anyways, that’s just it guys- why we are off- air most of the day?
Systems Maintenance, Systems repair and upgrade! So we can serve you better!

Gratitude

Hey Folks!

A good morning to you. Big drops of rain have been falling from the sky since the early morning and it's not likely to stop anytime soon. Thankful of these roofs I'm not wet. And thankful to have music so the boredom just passes by and do not linger.

Well it's a Monday again and in a little while we will be having our weekly meeting.
I checked the blogspot this morning and saw someone anonymously commenting that he is excited we are soon going 24/7. Maybe the same person who commented that the site is nice. He or she even said that a few things can further improve the site and glad about the livestreaming.

Know what? This makes the cream atop my coffee, the warm hello at a gray rainy morning. It brings me happiness after that oh-so-bad feeling after a mispronounced word in a wrongly delivered spiel or an ad lib.

This makes all those efforts in trying to improve the blog amidst our amateurish knowledge of designing, so fulfilling.

Thank you so much for that comment. Sometimes, we need them to remind us that we are indeed doing our jobs, and we are doing it right. It makes me feel so good.

Thank you so much for taking the time to drop by and type those letters. For the time you spent in checking us out and listening to our music.

Simple gestures that bring us great joy and pride.Keep posted for more a Easy Rock announcements and changes to come.

Kudos to you Easy Rockers. You made my day!

From Your DJ

Hi there Fellas. What's Up?

So many changes this week. Change that's the word for today, and if for the better, i so love it.
Like the change in weather after days of raining. Like the now dry streets after days of flooding.
Like the now busy beach with people flying kite after days of empty just the rain and the wind beating trees and store fronts.

Speaking of change, more changes are coming to the Blog and also with the program so keep posted guys.

For the mean time, enjoy the sun, the sand, the beach and the music... and reflect on the better changes that has improved your life this week.

From your DJ

The sun has just shone in Boracay after days of heavy rains making the Island look gloomy and sad. Well maybe not so sad to party lovers. For a handful of bars and night spots still open aside the strong winds and torrential rains; playing their music a little more louder than the usual to compete with the angry thuds the big raindrops make as they fall on the roof and the howl of the winds against breakers erected in the beach fronts.

The sun today signifies hope. Likened to the help that comes after a long week of struggle against the flooding that has beaten our country leaving both friends and strangers without homes and everyone else with few or none to eat.

The sun today is happiness. Its strong yellow rays lights the Earth and we can see everything beautiful - the trees, the flowers, the sky.

Happiness and hope.Words that keep us alive. Like the sun that gives power, energy, supports the growth of life, that aids in providing the world with food, the reason why the world goes round.

So let there be sun today. Love it! Feel it! Enjoy it! And let there be hope and happiness not only on this gorgeous Monday Morning but all through out our days.

From Your DJ

Your opinions are valued. For as we always say, there are no DJs if there are none of you, our listeners. No station could survive without its supporters and no figure would rise if not for her long throng of followers. It brings us joy and pride knowing that our every effort and hardships are noted and applauded. The time when we had to make our adlibs sound fine though we are hurting inside, making an effort not to cry though we are struggling inside is a great deal of work and we had to battle with it every day for ours as a job is not just something we do for a living but is also a way of life.

We do not blame you for being unable to see that as figures  and sounds heard from your radio, we are also hurt and we cannot just be happy at all times no matter how we try for that is how life goes. I recognize your intelligence and knowledge about the media and how we should sound to your delicate ears but it is quite insulting that you have to point them out as personal discrepancies of a person like diseases that is inflicting and needs to be treated immediately for fear of spreading.

We are humans and we are deemed to be corrected. After all, we recognize that we are not perfect and oftentimes we make mistakes. We are very patient people, but there are times that we reach the end of our patience. Please do recognize we are also humans that get het hurt with your “below the belt” allegations. Sometimes, we also feel that we had so much of your insults. It does not actually make us better media personalities, but instead your uncaring unthought-of opinions destroy our self-worth and defies our very purpose of wanting to bring you joy the moment you turn on your monitors everyday and it kills our positive view and our will of wanting to try over and over again.

Maybe more often it is our fault that you see and less of the things that we can do right, maybe that really is life- way back unfair. But I call on a little more prudence, understanding and care for feelings of beings that you do not know personally. You may have the right to judge but it is not your business to crush our spirits. I still and we will always be welcome in receiving your opinions. And we are always grateful of your continued support though I hope sometimes you need to put your views lightly and professionally.

God bless us all!

Another Day

Today it's perfectly sunny. After a night of rain cleaning the trees and streets of dust and dirt, the sun has dried the waters and made these green lovely things sparkling and a beauty. And the usually busy street clean and invites a jog or an early morning walk.

The weather has created a warm positive atmosphere today and everyone is all of a sudden up and about. Busy but happy. With a renewed energetic appeal, the place is quiet in the morning but inviting. Boracay seems to be alive again. After days of dark and gloom.

How's the weather at your place? Well, I hope you have one fine day.
