Windsurfing and kite surfing activities in Long Beach of Boracay will be regulated by the LGU Malay.

According to Boracay Chief Operations Officer Island Glenn Sacapaño, this will be discussed in a meeting with the windsurfing and kite surfing association, to avoid inconvenience for the beach swimmers.

Sacapaño added that they have been instructed the wind and kite surfing association in Boracay to submit a plan and coding in order to organize a system for them.

Meanwhile, Sacapaño added that the said association will also report to the Coastguard and Municipal Auxiliary Police to further explain their system.

The administrator also confirmed that there is still no ordinance yet in the island that regulates windsurfing and kite surfing activities on the island.
