Red Cross (PRC) Boracay – Malay Chapter now have 12 lifeguards.
According to PRC Deputy Administrator John
Patrick Moreno, PRC is still hoping to hire more lifeguards to patrol beaches
and pools especially in Boracay.
“We are still waiting for the Malay LGU’s action
if when was the release of budget.” He said.
In this regard, Moreno added that they have now
only life guard volunteers while waiting for a job order.
Meanwhile, it can be recalled that PRC
Boracay-Malay Chapter continuously offers it first aid trainings at safety
courses.
