The Aklan Parish
Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting or PPCRV has not given any instructions
for the Baranggay and SK Elections yet.
According to Aklan
PPCRV Coordinator, Reverend Father Ulysses Dalida, they are still waiting for
the mandate from the PPCRV Command Center in Manila on what moves will be
carried out for the said elections on October 28.
Father Dalida
also admitted that they weren't as active during the previous Baranggay
Elections compared to the last National Elections.
He added that,
although they do not have any poll watching this coming election, the PPCRV
will still be there to observe.
The PPCRV is a
national parish-based, non-partisan lay movement of the church that is continuously
working for an honest and clean election.
