The Boracay Island Water Company (BIWC), Panay Andoks and
Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter come launches blood donation drive.
This is in line with the celebration of Blood Donors’ Month
this July with the theme "Safe Blood for Saving Mothers".
BIWC Regulatory Planning and External Affairs Rommel De
Vicente said they have planned this project to help Mothers who needs blood.
Meanwhile, the BIWC had a head count yesterday to
predetermine the possible number of blood donors, wherein they expect up fifty
or seventy five people to donate their blood including BIWC’s employees.
The Philippine Red Cross is currently encouraging blood donors
specially men to help their programs in giving support to mothers.
