Tourist Bus and Public Transportation Units in Aklan, headed for Audio / Video equipment to promote the province

Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) Aklan passed an ordinance requiring tourist buses and other public transportation units to have audio and video devices to promote the province.

In a resolution sponsored by SP Member Emmanuel Soviet dela Cruz, it was noted that such ordinance has a great help in Aklan’s tourism industry as well as the economy of the province.

Meanwhile, SP Aklan was set to invite various tourist buses and public transportation units that are operating in the province to discuss such ordinance.

For the meantime, it referred first to the committees of Tourism, Trade and Industry and Commerce and Communications and the Committee on Laws, Rules and Ordinances and be reviewed.

Instead of concerning themselves with audio/video equipment, they should be more focused on providing nice buses and public transportation. They are all aging vehicles! Most aren't even safe to be on the road. We won't even discuss how bad the drivers are...
