The study of Daewoo Engineering and Construction Company in Boracay, Malay proposed bridge is still on a floating status.

This was confirmed by Vice Mayor Wilbec Gelito during the 25th Session of SB Malay.

Gelito said that until now they have not yet received any result after granting the said company for a feasibility study on the proposed project few months later after the news went viral about the bridge construction for the island of Boracay.

It can be recalled that Daewoo Company negotiated with Mayor John Yap, which the latter made a request to the Committee on Laws and the Committee on Public Utilities to enter into a MOA or Memorandum of Agreement with Daewoo Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd. for a feasibility study.
