More than 5,000 tourists from different parts
of the world added to the list of visitors in the island of Boracay for the
month of May compared to 2011, the Municipal Tourism Office record showed.
Based on MTO's record, the Korean's are still
on the top of the list as of now, which is the same as last year where more
than 9,000 were registered.
In the month of May this 2012, up to 30,000
foreign tourists were recorded, while on the same month in 2011 there were only
25,000.
Meanwhile, the number of Taiwanese visitors
slightly increased to 2,000 this year, while the Chinese ranged up to more than
1,000.
