The Sangguniang Panlalawigan approves the resolution that
requests Aklan Gov. Florencio Miraflores to send help out those that are
victims of the 7.2 magnitude earthquake.
Based upon the said resolution, in which it aspires to give financial,
assistance, as well as the private sectors will also be capable of helping on
the said calamity that happened in Central Visayas most recently October 15,
2013.
Consequently, according to NDRRMC (National Risk Reduction
Management and Council), the damage reached to almost P 1.6 billion wherein it
was stated that the Province of Bohol is merely the center of the shiver.
It was estimated that, 44,430 houses are smashed- up and
12,503 are totally destroyed.
