New Boracay PNP Chief’s advocacy - eradication of Illegal drugs

Written by Bert Dalida

The campaign against illegal drugs by the Boracay PNP is expected to be stronger.

This is because allegedly the matter is the advocacy of the new Boracay PNP Chief, PS Inspector Mark Evan Pedregosa Salvo for the island.

Nevertheless, Salvo admitted that he needs the cooperation of the public and other agencies and even those at the private sector in Boracay in order to lessen if not fully eliminate illegal drugs in the island.

Meanwhile, aside from fighting illegal drugs, the agency will also focus on illegal gambling in Boracay.

Salvo, who has just seated as the Chief of the Boracay Tourist Assistance Center for two (2) weeks is currently making courtesy call at different agencies of the government and other private sectors.
