Department
of Tourism (DOT) Regional Director Helen Catalbas herself temporarily serves as
officer of the week for DOT Boracay.
This
was confirmed by the DOT Boracay Office associated to the arrival of their
senior officials to temporarily make the job vacated by former DOT Boracay Officer
in Charge, Artemio “Tim” Ticar.
It
was recall that Ticar also confirmed that he will be transferred to Iloilo
effective on the first day of the month of August, base on the order or command
of Catalbas.
In
this regard, a week also that Catalbas will stay in the island of Boracay as
the Officer in Charge.
Meanwhile,
it is said that Catalbas is now also hurtling in the island and interact with
several agencies about the Flood Control Project of Tourism Infrastructure
Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA).
