Caticlan Jetty Port administrator not keen on adding security personnel

"If  the need arises."

This is the respond of Jetty Port Administrator Nieven Maquirang  when ask if they have plans in adding security personnel in Caticlan Jetty Port.

According to Maquirang, they have maintained the safe and peaceful visit of tourists in the island of Boracay.

At this time, they will not employ additional security personnel even the arrival of tourists continues to increase.

They will just be doing an augmentation during peak season.

On the other hand, Maquirang revealed that they are on bidding process with regards to purchasing x-ray machine for Roll-on/Roll-off (RORO) vessels in the next 2 months.

He added that they will be building an enclosure for the XRAY machine for the said transportation means.
