Written by Carla Suner

No fake meats from China and Korea will be entering the Province of Aklan.

This is what the Malay Health Office and the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian has assured after reports of fake meats from other countries have circulated.

According to Provincial Veterinarian Dr. Ma. Cyrose Leen Mabel Cinel, they haven’t recorded any entry of the said fake meats in Aklan.

This is because even if there are plans to bring in the product into the province, it will be immediately quarantined.

Meanwhile, the MHO assures the public not to worry as the government assigned agencies are working carefully in order to protect the health and safety of Aklanons.
