Panlalawigan (SP) Aklan now discussed the appropriate funds for the configuration
of the circumferential road in Boracay.
During
the 27th SP Regular Session, SP Member Esel Flores passed a
resolution requesting the Congressman Teodorico Haresco to facilitate the
complete funding requirements for the asphalt overlaying of the Boracay
circumferential road and other arterial roads to include the elevation of the
cross drainages and sewerage manholes located along the roadways.
According
to Flores, it is also a part of preparation for the upcoming Asia-Pacific
Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit to be held next year and continuing influx
of local and foreign tourists who visit the island.
