Ten cruise ship are scheduled to visit Boracay Island
this coming 2015.
This was confirmed by Caticlan Jetty Port Special
Operation Officer Jean Pontero after their meeting with the Provincial Tourism
Office.
She said that cruise ships from different places in the
world are very helpful for promotions and marketing to the island of Boracay.
Pontero added that many cruise ship companies are willing
to try a tour to one of the best island resort in the world.
For now, the Provincial Government Aklan and the
Department of Tourism (DOT) keeps on working to promote Boracay Island as a
cruise ship destination.
On the other hand the MS Superstar Aquarius is scheduled
to revisit the island this coming November and December with more than one thousand
passengers.
This last July the MS the World visited Boracay with more
than 429 tourist from Norway and US.
