Resolution for the entry-exit of boat trips in Boracay during Habagat set for committee hearing

The resolution for entry-exit of boat trips during Habagat in the island of Boracay is scheduled for a committee hearing.

This was confirmed by SB Member and Chairman of the Committee on Laws Rowen Aguirre during the SB session on Tuesday.

However, it was noted that upon implementation of the resolution, the weather forecast of PAGASA is still vital for the transfer of boat the trips to Tabon and Tambisaan Port.

Meanwhile, Aguirre added that the two ports should be addressing the boat traffic that cause slow operation.

Crowded terminal area in Tambisaan Port and lack of facilities should also be considered.

Despite of this the LGU Malay is favor for this resolution to avoid the confusion of passengers where the boat trips during Habagat.
