Commission on Election (COMELEC) Registration for SK Election in Malay reached only 200.

Based on its record, COMELEC Malay recorded 295 registered voters from September 21-September 29, 2014.

Malay COMELEC Officer II Elma Cahilig said, “the only few registered was due to the SK Registration postponement last year, a reason that some youths have lost their interest.”

Meanwhile, there were 729 registrants in Malay prior to postponement as per declaration by President Noynoy Aquino through RA 10632.

According to Cahilig, the 729 registrants will be added to the latest 295 to sum up as the total number of registered voters for February 21, 2015.

The SK Election next year will not be using PCOS Machine since it will be manually.
