Bayan (SB) Malay approves the availability of Technical and Vocational
School in the municipality.
This
was after the discussion through Malay SB Session this Tuesday subsequent to
resolution led by Vice Mayor Wilbec Gelito.
It
was noted that the training center will be constructed in Balusbos, Malay,
Aklan as a venue of Technical Vocational School in the municipality.
There
was also a resolution passed by SB Malay recognizing the Housekeeping NC II and
Food and Beverages NC II as initial courses / program of such school to offer.
“We’re
developing lifelong learners with critical and technical skills.” Malay SB
Members said.
The
schools also aim to provide adequate skills for youth vocational activities
especially that the island of Boracay requires such skills.
Meanwhile,
LGU Malay now works together with other agencies for the immediate construction
of said vocational school.
