Barangay Manoc-manoc has already prepared the Tambisaan Port for the onset of the “habagat” season (southwest monsoon) this June.

According to Manoc-manoc Brgy. Captain Abram Sualog, they are just currently fixing a few things for the comfort of the passengers.

There have been some facilities added at the port for a faster operation.

Although the area is not that huge, Brgy. Manoc-manoc ensures that all passengers, particularly the tourists, will be given proper service.

Aside from this, the docking area where the boat traffic usually builds up resulting to delays is also given attention.

The mentioned Barangay is also looking forward to further improve the port whenever the government will have sufficient funds for it.

Meanwhile, Sualog assures the safety of the passengers at Tambisaan Port during habagat, where they will be deploying watchers such as the Philippine Coastguard.

The Tambisaan Port to Tabon Port in Caticalan serves as the route during the period of the of southwest monsoon.
