Aklan
Police Provincial Office (APPO) Chief S/Supt. Iver Apellido recently confirmed the
figures during his Command Conference.
Thus,
he said that part of his mandate to all Aklan Chiefs of Police to intensify various
campaigns against criminality.
Furthermore,
there has been a consistent police visibility in areas where such crimes
frequently occurs.
Meanwhile,
Boracay Tourist Assistance Center (BTAC) said that a lot of robbery or theft
victims are usually foreign tourist.
