First Aid Heroes in Boracay to be awarded by the Philippine Red Cross

The first aid heroes in the island of Boracay will be awarded by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Boracay Malay Chapter.

The activity is part of the celebration of First Aid Month this September and celebrated in different parts of the world.

Deputy Administrator John Partrick Moreno of PRC Boracay-Malay Chapter stressed that the awardees are the partners of their organizations from different agencies in Boracay and nominated by their constituents as first aid heroes.

One of the qualifications of the Red-Cross is the first aider are those who have rescued the live of a drowning person in the island and provided first aid to a patient that they responded.

The award will be giving this coming Saturday along with the celebration of the First Aid Olympics on the island of Boracay.
