5 BNHS Manoc-Manoc Extension students competes for Western Visayas Regional meet

Five students from Boracay National High School (BNHS) Manoc-Manoc Extension will compete with 3000 athletes in Western Visayas on February 8-13, 2015 in the province.

According to BNHS Manoc-Manoc Extension School Head Victor Supetran, they have one player for secondary baseball, one for secondary basketball boys and three players for the secondary softball.

He said: “The students from elementary and secondary divisions are all ready to compete in six provincial delegations this February.”

Meanwhile, 2015 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet has this year’s theme “Sports: Paving the way towards peaceful and delightful schools.”

In this regard, the provincial government of Aklan and the Department of Education are all ready to welcome around 3,000 athletes from elementary and secondary divisions in six provincial delegations this February.

Winners of WVRAA Meet will represent the region in Tagum City, Davao del Norte in Mindanao for the 2015 Palarong Pambansa.
