Europa 2 revisits Boracay.
With
the estimated number of 500 passengers, it arrived in the territorial waters of
Malay at around 8:00 am this morning and unloaded some tourists in Cagban Port.
Jetty Port officials, Department of Tourism,
and LGU Malay welcomed the passengers who went for island tour in some areas of
interest like the long beach, D’Mall, souvenir shops and restaurants in the
island.
Philippine
coastguard, coastguard auxiliaries, Maritime and PNP personnel and Caticlan
Securities were seen on the port for the security of the tourists.
Meanwhile,
Caticlan Jetty Port Special Operation Officer III Jean Pontero confirmed that
the cruise ship MS Europa 2 will be leaving the island by 2:00 pm bound for its
next destination in Tagbilaran, Bohol.
It
was MS Europa’s 4rth visit in Boracay.
