Malay PNP still on Election related duties

Following the National declaration of overall peacefulness and order of Monday’s election, police personnel earlier deployed as augments were now returned to their mother units.

Their Election related duties however isn’t done yet.

According to PO1 Lou Dela Cruz of the Malay PNP, although the ten police augments in Malay has already been returned, and the election was over, their duties related to the elections still continues.

They are still particularly monitoring the gun ban policy, and still are conducting checkpoints.

While the liquor ban has been lifted, the gun ban however will still remain effective until June 12, 2013.

Meanwhile when asked if Malay PNP has recorded any election related incidents, so far Dela Cruz described it as “negative.”

The Malay Police also calls upon the public of their continuous cooperation.
