This is according to Malay Comelec Election Officer II Elma Cahilig, who said they will not let the candidates carry out a campaign that is not within the commission’s regulations.

In fact, the municipality’s poll body will conduct an inspection in Baranggays in Malay before the campaign period ends this Saturday.

Cahilig said that if posters and or campaign materials are found to be against the required size, the candidate or owner of the said material will be sent a written notice or may be called upon.

The Election Officer, meanwhile, appeals to the masses to report any violations committed by electoral candidates.

Cahilig also advises the voters to wisely choose the candidates, those she said that are responsible and deserves to lead the Baranggay.
