Tourists of MS Superstar Gemini, roamed around Boracay Island

Tourists from the cruise ship MS Superstar Gemini roamed the Island of Boracay on Thursday, October 17.

According to DOT Officer-In-Charge, Tim Ticar, wearing lei and native hats, the tourists walked along the beach front and even on the main road of Stations 1, 2 and 3.

The cruise ship arrived at three in the morning (3am), which was earlier than its scheduled arrival of five in the morning (5am).

Meanwhile, security was tightened at the jetty port, and the stationed agencies where the tourists would pass, were on alert.

It was learned that only some of the more than 1, 271 passengers and the 973 crew members went down from the cruise ship to roam around, and walk on the white sand of Boracay.

The welcome for the visit of the MS Superstar Gemini from the provincial government of Aklan and the LGU of Malay was joyful and colorful.
