Two Chinese Nationals, wounded in a jet-ski collision in Boracay

Two Chinese nationals were wounded after the jet-ski they were riding got hit by another jet ski.

According to the report of the Philippine Coastguard-Boracay, the two Chinese nationals Ms Liu Ye, 24 years old, and Ms Xu Rongjun, 24 years old were riding a jet-ski when all of a sudden they were hit by another jet-ski driven by Libyan national Mr. Alis Mleitan, 25 years old.

Because of the strong impact of the collision, the rib of Ye broke. The right arm and left ankle of Xu also got broken.

Meanwhile, it was fortunate that only minor injuries were sustained by Mleitan.

Based on the investigation of the PCG, the accident occurred on Tuesday, October 22, at an area estimated to be 300 meters Southwest of Angol point, Manoc-Manoc village, Boracay at around 5:20 in the afternoon.

On the other hand, the Philippine Coastguard reminded those who would be using jet-ski to be careful especially that the waves are strong.
