Jetty Port was a bit crowded Tuesday, April 1.
The change
in the movement of people to and from the island was also noticeable.
Aside from
this, the tighter security at the mentioned port was also visible because of
the increased number of stationed police, coastguard, maritime police and army.
The
noticeable state of affairs was because on Tuesday, April 1, the awaited, MS
Super Star Aquarius arrived carrying tourists.
Like
expected, it was before 5 in the morning that the cruise ship arrived which was
carrying about one thousand (1, 000) passengers. The number included tourists
and its crew members.
It was
learned that the passengers of MS Super Star Aquarius had been scheduled to
visit areas of interest in the island, like the long beach, Ati Community, D’
Mall Boracay and other places.
Meanwhile,
authorities had made plans to make sure of the security of tourists until the
departure of the ship at 3 in the afternoon.
On the
other hand, the local government of the province of Aklan is hoping that the
tourists will be happy in their visit to Boracay.
