The numbers of theft victims at Boracay beach front may now be lessened.

This in particular is for the tourists who leave their belongings at the beach area while swimming.

This is as the Boracay Tourist Assistance Center (BTAC) prepares for the setting up of a PNPA booth o what is known as “panatag na po ako” booth which will serve as ring assistance desk at the beach front.

According to Boracay PNP Chief PSInspector Mark Evan Salvo, this will leave ill-intentioned individuals no opportunity to steal because the PNPA booth will contain lockers for tourists to leave their things at.

Meanwhile, the BTAC is now setting the plan for the booth’s design and its budget.
