Colors and
cultural diversity were among the highlights on the 11th Fiesta De
Obreros in Malay.
And while
the Malaynons celebrate, the members of the Malay PNP Station are also on alert
in ensuring the security of the masses taking part in the festivity.
Some of
the activities that many are looking forward to are the street dancing and
ground presentation.
Meanwhile,
Fiesta De Obreros is known to be celebrated on Labor Day and to pay homage to
Malay’s patron St. Joseph the worker.
This
year’s theme is “Ang himpit nga Pagtuo, Sinsero nga pagtrabaho – Daean sa
progreso.” (Strong Faith, Sincere Work – The way to Progress)
