A boat was
reported to have sunk between Barangay Yapak and Hambil at around 10am Sunday.
According
to the report, the victims were traveling back to Boracay when one of the
boats, operated by a certain “Jeeboy” capsized.
He was
immediately rescued by his father who was on another boat and was told to get
help from Boracay for the boat to be retrieved.
The PNP
Maritime Group and Bantay Dagat soon arrived to help along with other boats
from Romblon.
The
mentioned boats were smaller and are only used as personal service.
