The
Municipal Planning Office of Malay is calling for support for the Comprehensive
Land Use Plan (CLUP).
During
a public hearing on the Revised Ordinance of Malay Wednesday morning, Municipal
Planning Officer Alma Beliherdo said that the content of the 10-year CLUP for
Malay and Boracay still lies in the hands of Malaynons especially that of
Barangay and Municipal leaders.
Beliherdo
added that the CLUP will remain just a plan without their support.
Meanwhile,
the Municipal Planning Officer clarified that nothing has changed in the
content of the said ordinance.
The
Council of Malay has again called up for a public hearing to review the Zoning
Ordinance after 2 public hearings last year.
