Members of
Boracay and Malay Haulers’ Cooperative have yet to talk with Aklan Governor
Florencio “Joeben’ Miraflores.
This is in
line with their appeal to the Aklan Provincial Government to provide them with
enough aggregates and or sands in Boracay.
They
previously expressed that they were not convinced with the word given to them
by Engr. Leo Pareña of the Aklan Provincial Government, that they will be given
enough supply of sands though they only have one supplier.
Meanwhile,
according to the Cooperative, they might have a conversation with the governor
within this week if they will be a given a schedule.
