Written by Jay-ar Arante

The Aklan Provincial Government is extending its gratitude to those who helped and took part in the successful visit of the cruise ship MS Superstar Gemini in Boracay last Thursday.

Led by Aklan Governor Joeben Miraflores and Vice Governor Gabrielle Calizo-Quimpo, the government is thanking those who made the occasion possible and effectively done.

First in line are the Local Government of Malay, Department of Tourism, and other private agencies who contributed to make the tourists and other passengers of the cruise ship feel welcomed.

Gratitude was also given to the members of the PNP, PCG, and “bantay-dagat” or sea patrols for ensuring the safety of the intended areas.

MS Superstar Gemini’s visit was made possible, primarily through the management of Wallem Philippines.

Meanwhile, before the year 2013 ends, another cruise ship called the MS Superstar Aquarius will be coming to Boracay.

Its arrival is expected on November 4.
