The search by authorities for the suspect in the murder of Ati Spokesperson Dexter Condez is still ongoing.

On October 1, 2013, a warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Domingo Casiple Jr. of Kalibo Aklan Regional Trial Court Branch 7 for the arrest of suspect Daniel Celestino.

According to Boracay PNP Chief PS/Insp. Joeffer Cabural, they right away went to the house of the suspect at Malinao, Aklan but failed to find the suspect.

Nevertheless, their search for Celestino continues particularly at places he may go.

Cabural added that they had coordinated with other police in the province of Aklan and nearby places.

Meanwhile, on October 2 of the present year, the Boracay Ati Community expressed its disappointment since the suspect could no longer be found.

Dexter Condez is the Ati leader who was killed while he was on his way home to their village at Sitio Lugutan, Manoc-Manoc Boracay on February 22 of the current year.
