PRC Boracay-Malay Chapter, extends gratitude to LGU Malay

Written by Bert Dalida

The Philippine Red Cross Boracay-Malay Chapter is celebrating its second year in the municipality.

With this, the chapter extends its gratitude to the local government of Malay for its support.

Through the PRC Chapter Lifeguards Report for the month of October, the PRC acknowledged how they are recognized by the local and international community as well as the tourists in Boracay with the support of Malay Mayor John Yap.

In line with this, the PRC also reported their achievements such as the recognition from the Philippine Red Cross Headquarters last March 11, placing the chapter at Top 7 in the Highest Population Coverage for Membership and Resource Generation award of Excellence.

Meanwhile, the PRC continues on their appeal for and hopes for an ongoing support from the Office of the Mayor for the success of Red Cross programs, particularly on life guard services.
