Fr. Crisostomo advised candidates for upcoming election

Written by Gloria Villas

Advice was given to candidates for the Village election happening in October by Fr. Arnold Crisostomo of the Balabag Holy Parish Church.

According to Fr. Crisostomo, candidates should be fair in campaigning and their program should also be clear.

He also hoped that the candidates would have plans for the betterment of their respective village.

Respect for the aspirations of their fellow candidates is also needed, and mud-slinging should be avoided according to Fr. Crisostomo.

He added that winning does not depend on courage and influence as a candidate.

Instead, candidates should take sportsmanship into consideration for a better community.

Meanwhile, the priest advised voters to choose someone who deserves to be voted and could do something good for the community.
