The
Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Aklan haven’t received any
notice from President Benigno Aquino III regarding the remaining fund of the SK
or the youth council.
According
to DILG LGOO 6 Lynette Urquiola, they are just waiting for the President’s
order and decision on what to do with the SK’s remaining fund since their term
is about to end.
It is
possible she said that the fund will go to the Baranggay’s treasury in case its
government will have no project to use it to.
Urquiola added
that some of the SK budgets were used in trainings, livelihood projects, and
Brgy. Games, depending on how many percent are required to finance the certain
activity.
Meanwhile,
Urquiola said they will immediately release a report whenever the president
hands down his decision regarding this matter.
