Former Boracay Foundation Inc, (BFI) President Loubelle Cann will now take to her final resting place.

According to BFI, there will be having a mass at around 9:00 in the morning at Immaculate Conception Parish Church, Batan, Aklan.

It is heard that some members of the BFI were going to attend the said burial and it is expected that Malay Mayor John Yap will also be there.

Aside from it, Loubelle’s friend from Boracay will be present as well.

On the other hand, the municipal government of Malay, the Boracay Foundation Inc. and other stakeholders in the world-famous island resort paid tribute to the businesswoman and environmentalist Loubelle Cann, who recently died of cancer on September 27, 2013.

It was during her term that the group fought for several environmental advocacies, particularly the opposition to the reclamation project of the provincial government.

Cann served as president of the foundation for two years and served as a board of director for almost 10 years.
