DOT: Korean Tourist Arrival in Boracay retains leading

 Written by Jay-ar Arante

Koreans, are  still leading on the list of the  tourists that arrives in Boracay.

It is what DOT Boracay Officer-in-charge Tim Ticar confirmed with regards to the news that the Island was dominated by the Chinese tourist rather than the Korean arrivals this year.

He said that those who comes from Korea are still in the rank 1, with the total number of 18,132, and that who’s coming from China only got 18,070  of arrivals this month for vacation.

It was comprehended that the target of the Department of Tourism for the 1.5 million tourist arrival this year is getting close to achieve.

Ticar believed that the said number is halfway reached for the reason that they already listed almost 1 million tourist entries in the Island since January this year.

Thus, the peak season is coming, and the DOT Boracay expects that thousands of tourist is about to arrive.
