SB Malays worries to the damage roads of Boracay

Written by Jay-ar Arante

The Sangguniang Bayan of Malay worries to the ruined road, mostly on the areas of Balabag and Manoc- manoc.

SB Member Jupiter Gallenero said on the session meeting on Tuesday morning, that some of the roads of Boracay are not in a good condition.

He also said that it should be fixed to look good, particularly the peak season is about to come.

Gallenero added that the bricks starting from the main road way to police station going along the entrance of the front beach are in actual fact damaged.

In the meantime, the Sangguniang Bayan of Malay wants to call for the attention of the DPWH, including the other officials of the said village for a committee hearing next week.

The councilors are now trying to figure out, if the governments do have an actual budget intended for the DPWH for the roads of Boracay, as well as the LGU Malay.

Consequently, SB Member Floribar Bautista said that the roads on the Island must be given attention and not only the tourism.
