ZERO UNTOWARD INCIDENTS oN SCHOOL OPENING - DEPED

No untoward incidents were recorded by the Department of Education (Deped) during the school opening in Aklan this year.

According to Deped Program Supervisor, Michael Rapiz, the opening of classes was peaceful because of the monitoring held on schools before the opening.

In relation to this, the Program Supervisor thanked those who gave assistance to DepEd for the opening of classes this year.

He thanked the Media, Education stakeholders and different government agencies.

In the meantime, while teachers, students, and especially parents were busy for the opening of classes in the Island of Boracay, the Boracay Tourist Assistance Center (BTAC) assisted in securing the safety of students.
